Excited!

Tomorrow is the big day!  I'm having dinner with my family currently and going over last minute stuff.  I will miss everyone, especially Buster (who doesn't understand).  The next time you hear from me, I will be in Lima!  Yay!

Still at Home

 Preparing for my trip to Peru and Panama - only ten SEVEN days until I leave!  I'm very excited and a little apprehensive.  Traveling up to an elevation of almost 11,000 feet and down to the Amazon River Basin.  I'll be visiting Lima (of course), Pisco, Islas Ballestas (poor man's Galapagos), Cusco, the Sacred Valley (hopefully most of it), Machu Picchu (YAY!), Iquitos on the Amazon and then spending two days in a lodge on the Tahuayo River and two days in a research center deep in the jungle.  Then back to Lima and on to Panama City for two days before heading home.  Yikes!  A lot to think about and much to prepare for.  I'd better get on it.  Talk to y'all soon.
